Had Global Training in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur(6/27-7/5).


Valuable time spent with my collegues.
We had a tough experience of discussion & presentation in English everyday.
(Of course not only training, but also went sightseeing on weekend.)


Here, I write a note of how to discuss & presentation to utilize this experience.

how to discuss

  • DO NOT avoid conflict.
  • First, brainstorming. Second, evaluating.
  • PREPARE before discussion.
  • ALL MEMBERS should be responsible for time keeping.
  • Be LOGICAL.
  • Dig down more and more.
  • Be positive to understand other opinions.
  • Respect other opinion.
  • What is the PURPOSE? Who is the LISTNER?
  • Connect the ideas.

Different ideas lead to great idea.
Remember we need 'conflict' & 'disagreement'.

how to present

  • Composition of presentation
    • 10% introduction
    • 80% body
    • 10% closing
  • Composition of introduction
    • Greeting
    • Getting Attention
    • Why we are here
    • Agenda
  • Be confident. ACT confident.
  • Keep title SIMPLE.(2-4words/start from verb)
  • EVERYTIME needs gestrue(body language).
  • Explain WHY/HOW.
  • What is the PURPOSE? Who is the LISTNER?
  • Practice. Practice. Practice.


I need more practice to present in English.
I promise to myself that I have more than one presentation practice per month.
